Dr David Yonggi Cho, senior pastor of the world’s largest church, Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, Korea (830,000 members in 2007) believes that theology tries to understand the original meaning and purpose of the Bible as God had intended and to discover how to apply that knowledge to the lives of Christians. Theology aims to take the Bible as it is written, and preserve the Gospel without any distortion, so as to revitalize the power of the Gospel.
In view of this truth, our paramount task is to train 21st century leaders and ministers with sound practical theology as well as providing counselling training to those that will help others in crisis. We see a crucial need to provide quality training for Christian leaders, pastors, evangelists, missionaries, counsellors, worship leaders, Christian music ministers, church workers and those who simply wish to be a witness for Jesus Christ.
South London Christian College has a strong track record of equipping Christians for ministry on a global scale since inception in 1991. The diversity of programmes and courses we offer training or tuition for includes Biblical Studies, Ministerial Studies, Theology, Divinity, Missional Leadership, Christian Counselling and Christian Music & Worship. We offer part-time certificate courses right up to full-time postgraduate degree courses.

At the same time, we have not neglected the need for world evangelization and community development through the local church and church planting initiatives, We therefore continue to have an increasing number of Jubilee International Church plants and branches within the UK and globally. Each of our church branches is mandated to be a nucleus for the distribution and demonstration of God’s love and power to lead a sick and dying world to faith in Jesus Christ.
